The annual Past President's Luncheon was held on Saturday afternoon during the convention.  This luncheon was adopted in 1964 when  Bill Plummer was president and has continued as an annual event every year since.  This year there were 40 past presidents & guests in attendance.

They  voted to begin a Past President's Scholarship to be given each year to someone in the floral industry who wishes to further their education.

Announcement regarding the adoption of the Past President's Scholarship was made Saturday night at the President's Banquet.

All past presidents who were present at the banquet were introduced and  presented with a check for $1,000.00 by Bridgette Whelan representing BloomNet.  This is to be applied to the Past Presidents Scholarship Fund.

There were 25 past presidents in attendance for this announcement.
