Scholarship Design Competition - Chairman Joe Turner 

To qualify for this competition the following criteria must be met:

The contestant must

•        be a resident of the State of Arkansas for the past year.
•        have worked in the State of Arkansas for the past year.
•        have been employed in a member's shop or shops for the past year
•        must continue to reside in th State of Arkansas until they complete the floral design school

Three design scholarships will be awarded:

•        First Place will receive a $1,000 scholarship to apply toward tuition, travel expenses and 
         lodging to attend a floral design school.
•        First Runner-up will receive $600.00 to be applied toward attending a floral design school.
•        Second Runner-up will receive $400.00 to be applied toward attending a floral design school.

All schools are subject to approval of the Scholarship Committee.  Scholarship checks will be awarded upon proof of completion.

First Place Winner is not eligible to enter the Scholarship Design Competition again, but is eligible to enter the Arkansas Cup Competition the following year.   First & Second Runners-up may compete in the Scholarship Design Competition again.
