The Arkansas Florists Association offers many benefits and opportunities to its members.  Ever since its inception the Arkansas Florsits Association has been dedicated to furthering education within the floral industry in Arkansas.

Each year there are education scholarships, design competition scholarships and a design contest to find the designer of the year.   Until 2006 the Arkansas Designer of the year had the opportunity to compete in the design contest for Southern Retail.  In 2006 the Arkansas convention became home to the Mid-America Design Competition where designers of the year from several states are invited to compete.

Throughout the year education events are held to help designers hone their skills and each year anyone within the floral industry in Arkansas may take classes to earn the distinction of Arkansas Master Florist.

Our members may join the Florists Federal Credit Union.  See sub category of this section.

We learned last year of an opportunity for people in Arkansas who may be eligible for health insurance through funds made available from the monies received from the tobacco settlement.   This is not just for the floral industry.  For more information see sub category of this section.

Florists’ Review MagazineFlorists' Review magazine is a monthly guidebook for operating a successful floral business.
