From the President…  

Plans are already being formed for the association’s new year and the 2007 state convention.  The Education committee met recently and has plans laid out for the upcoming year with regard to classes being offered.  Basic information for the classes is included elsewhere in this newsletter and complete information will be posted at www.arkansasfloristsassociation.org very soon.  If you do not have access to the website and need additional information, please call the education chairman, Lou Cook at 501-241-2640.

The theme for the convention is “Give Our Regards to Broadway”  and I am very excited about some of the activities already in the works.

This is your convention and we want you to be involved.  Contact the chairman of a committee you would like to work on and reap the rewards of satisfaction knowing you were part of the biggest florist event in the state of Arkansas and some say “anywhere in the South”.

If you know of someone who is not a member, encourage them to join.  There is not a better place to learn from some of the best in the floral industry, many of them from right here in Arkansas.
