Excitement mounts as we look forward to the Arkansas Florist Association version of Southern Splendor.  Beginning with the hotel lobbies, Terry Bates and his committee will introduce us to the beauty of flowers for a southern affair to remember.  Robbie Walls and Kay Schaffli carry on the theme by welcoming everyone to the best trade market ever.  Chaired by Bitsy McCorkle Carter, Friday night  decorations will feature a Southern picnic with all the favorite things we remember, except the ants.

Saturday night the creative talents of Brent Stewart and Monroe Cranford transport us to a place where time stood still and gorgeous Southern garden flowers will dazzle us all.  You won’t want to miss this one.  Believe it or not, there may even be a cotton patch!  I can hardly wait to see it all. Guaranteed one to remember.  

Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard preparing for the decorations at the convention.  It takes a lot of work to pull the convention off - which brings us to the biggest thing we need—

Volunteers!  We need volunteers who will work Friday and Saturday to prepare for the picnic and banquet.  It will help, even if you can only work for a short time.  You will enjoy the convention more and it will be more special since you were a working part.
