From the Trade Market Floor by J. Ted Lewis, Chairman

It is hard to believe that it is convention time ,  but we are getting ready to go again.  The trade market is filling up with many of our regular vendors returning and several new ones are signing up. 

Excitement begins to build as we start the move-in process and get to see folks we haven’t seen since last year.  The momentum keeps going as florists arrive to visit with some of their vendors, talk to new ones and find new items to try in their shops along with learning some new design techniques.  

In the floral business today  we cannot afford to stand still.  Someone is always coming up with a better, faster, cheaper (well, maybe not cheaper) way to do things and if we don’t keep abreast of what is happening we will  be left in the dust.

Volunteer to get involved.  There are many places where you can help.    Sign up to help set up the Trade Market on Friday and receive a T-Shirt compliments of Teleflora.  Yes,  it’s  work, but it is  rewarding.

Come on, sign up, bring the whole gang to Hot Springs and join the fun.   See you in August!!
